The Magruder Colonels basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans to 44 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Colonels now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Poolesville for a Montgomery County - North contest on Friday, January 10. Magruder will battle a Falcons team coming off a 54-42 league win over Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
