January 9, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31601 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) and the visiting Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA), observed Georgia Christian's basketball team overwhelm Highland Christian Academy by a score of 81-50.
The Generals (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Warriors come into the GIAA AA Region 3 challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Southwest Georgia Academy trounced Westwood (Camilla, GA), 64-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the EAGLES encounter the Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) in a GIAA A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Highland Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 50-48 league loss to Westwood (Camilla, GA).
