January 9, 2025: Wilmington, DE 19803 The Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) basketball toppled the visiting Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE), 53-42 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Quakers now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host St. Andrew's for a Independent Schools bout on Thursday, January 9. Wilmington Friends will play a Cardinals team coming off a 76-29 non-league win over Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Glasgow falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to MOT Charter (Middletown, DE) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-1. MOT Charter lost 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Marshall Academy (New York, NY)
