Iowa High School Basketball - Woodward-Granger overwhelms GMG
January 9, 2025: Garwin, IA 50632 The Woodward-Granger Hawks basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host GMG Wolverines to 40 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they host West Central Valley for a West Central game on Friday, January 10. Woodward-Granger will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-41 league loss to Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, GMG falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to BCLUW (Conrad, IA) to confront the Comets in a Iowa Star game on Tuesday, January 14. The Comets go into the game with a record of 1-9.
