Maine High School Basketball - Wells bested by Greely
January 9, 2025: Cumberland Center, ME 04021 Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), 61-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Greely advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Rangers travel to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 9-2. Messalonskee won 45-36 in their recent league match against Hampden (Hampden, ME)
The Warriors now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poland for a B South match on Friday, January 24.
