Maine High School Basketball - Poland crushes Sacopee Valley
January 9, 2025: Poland, ME 04274 The Poland Knights (Poland, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), 90-34 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Region for a B South bout on Saturday, January 11. Poland will play a Lakers team coming off a 50-36 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Sacopee Valley falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Hawks host Richmond (Richmond, ME) to play the Bobcats in a C South bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Richmond won 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME)
