January 9, 2025: Wabeno, WI 54566 The Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) basketball were winner over the visiting Three Lakes Bluejays (Three Lakes, WI), 62-52 in Thursday's league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Regis for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Wabeno/Laona will play a Ramblers team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Fall Creek (Fall Creek, WI). The Ramblers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Three Lakes falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Hurley (Hurley, WI) to play the Northstars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Northstars go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Hurley won 82-27 in their recent league bout against Mercer (Mercer, WI)
