January 9, 2025: Belmond, IA 50421 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Belmond-Klemme Broncos (Belmond, IA) and the visiting Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), observed Belmond-Klemme's basketball team overcome Humboldt by a margin of 56-39.
The Broncos (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils come into the North Iowa challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Osage dropped by West Fork (Sheffield, IA), 47-31, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) in a North Central challenge, on Friday, January 10. Humboldt will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 45-30 league loss to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA).
