Oregon High School Basketball - Brookings-Harbor overwhelms Illinois Valley
January 9, 2025: Cave Junction, OR 97523 The Brookings-Harbor Bruins basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Illinois Valley Cougars to 18 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bruins now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Gold Beach for a non-league game on Friday, January 10.
With the loss, Illinois Valley falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bandon (Bandon, OR) to play the Tigers in a 2A Sunset game on Tuesday, January 14. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 9-5. Bandon won 36-32 in their recent league game against East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR)
