Minnesota High School Basketball - Plainview-Elgin-Millville knocks off La Crescent
January 9, 2025: Elgin, MN 55964 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN) and the visiting La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN), observed Plainview-Elgin-Millville's basketball team overcome La Crescent by a margin of 66-54.
The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Eagles come into the AA Section 1 challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Lourdes defeated Lake City (Lake City, MN), 62-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. La Crescent will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 65-41 league win over Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN).
