January 9, 2025: West Suffield, CT 06093 Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT), 57-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Morgan upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Huskies travel to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to face the Wildcats in a Shoreline match on Friday, January 10. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 3-4. Old Lyme lost 46-21 in their recent league match against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT)
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granby Memorial for a North Central Connecticut match on Tuesday, January 14. Suffield will face a Bears squad coming off a 53-11 non-league win over Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Bears record now stands at 6-2.
