The Richwoods Knights basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Normal Community Ironmen to 41 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Urbana for a Big Twelve game on Saturday, January 11. Richwoods will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-51 league loss to Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Normal Community falls to 16-3 on the campaign. The Ironmen host O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 11-6. O'Fallon won 82-20 in their recent league game against East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL)
