California High School Basketball - Live Oak holds off Anderson
January 9, 2025: Live Oak, CA 95993 The Live Oak Lions basketball team scored 30 points and limited the visiting Anderson Cubs to 23 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Orland for a game on Tuesday, January 14. Live Oak will confront a Trojans team coming off a 35-26 non-league win over Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Anderson falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Lassen (Susanville, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a game on Tuesday, January 14. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 11-4. Lassen lost 43-35 in their recent league game against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)
