Florida High School Basketball - Nease defeats Oakleaf
January 9, 2025: Orange Park, FL 32065 The Nease Panthers (Ponte Vedra, FL) basketball were winner over the host Oakleaf Knights (Orange Park, FL), 43-27 in Thursday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Kenny for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Nease will play a Crusaders team coming off a 57-24 non-league win over Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Oakleaf falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Fleming Island (Orange Park, FL) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Fleming Island won 48-16 in their recent non-league bout against Westside (Jacksonville, FL)
