January 9, 2025: San Diego, CA 92154 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the host Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA), saw Grossmont's soccer squad knock off Southwest SD by a score of 2-0.
The Foothillers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, El Capitan by La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Southwest SD will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA).
