The Portola Tigers basketball squad (Portola, CA), was crushed 79-17 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA)

With the victory, University Prep advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Orland (Orland, CA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 10-5. Orland won 57-21 in their recent non-league battle against Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA)
