Texas High School Soccer - Elgin nudged by Manor
January 9, 2025: Manor, TX 78653 Manor Mustangs (Manor, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Manor moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Hutto (Hutto, TX) to clash with the Hippos in a 6A Region 4 District 25 test on Friday, January 17. The Hippos come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host IDEA South Flores for a non-league test on Friday, January 10. Elgin will clash with a Owls team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Wimberley (Wimberley, TX). The Owls record now stands at 0-3.
