California High School Soccer - Grossmont nudged by Valhalla
January 9, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92021 Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Valhalla advances its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to clash with the Monarchs in a Grossmont Hills test on Wednesday, January 15. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 5-5. Monte Vista won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA)
The Foothillers now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Hills for a Grossmont Valley test on Wednesday, January 15. Grossmont will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
