In their next game, the Wildcats face the Amite Warriors (Amite, LA) in a 2A District 9 bout, on Friday, October 8. Varnado will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 40-28 non-league win over Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA).
The Buffaloes (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers enter the 3A District 7 bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Glen Oaks lost by University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 57-0, in a league bout.
