October 1, 2021: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Lincoln-Way Central Knights football team (New Lenox, IL), was beaten 40-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL)
The Boilermakers (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts come into the Southwest Suburban - Red challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Andrew achieved victory over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 36-6, in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a Southwest Suburban - Red challenge on Friday, October 8. Lincoln-Way Central will meet a Warriors team coming off a 21-13 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
