The Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) football overcame the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), 48-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Riverside Ram (Ashburn, VA) in a Potomac bout, on Friday, October 8. Woodgrove will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Ram enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 13-8 non-league loss to Sherando (Stephens City, VA).

The Falcons (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Potomac bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Stone Bridge thwarted Broad Run (Ashburn, VA), 64-7, in a non-league bout.
