October 1, 2021: Las Cruces, NM 88001 The Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) football routed the host Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM), 52-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a 6A District 3/4 bout, on Friday, October 8. Centennial will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cavemen enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 42-13 league loss to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM).
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Gadsden was crushed by Lovington (Lovington, NM), 52-0, in a non-league bout.
