October 1, 2021: Dallas Center, IA 50063 The Jefferson Yellowjackets football team (Council Bluffs, IA), was ripped 36-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs (Dallas Center, IA)
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Huskies come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Hoover was ripped by Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA), 56-0, in a league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Winterset for a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, October 8. Jefferson will meet a Huskies team coming off a 40-8 league win over Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.
