The United Longhorns football team (Laredo, TX), was beaten 43-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX)

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region IV District 30 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Nixon was beaten by United South (Laredo, TX), 41-14, in a league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Rio for a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge on Friday, October 8. United will meet a Rams team coming off a 24-19 league win over Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
