The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Irion County (Mertzon, TX). The Hornets come into the 1A 6 Man 1 Region IV District 14 (6 Man) challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Irion County trounced Blackwell (Blackwell, TX), 67-40, in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westbrook for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 8 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 8. Highland will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Garden City (Garden City, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
