The L'Anse Creuse Lancers football team (Harrison Township, MI), was beaten 27-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI)

The Huskies (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI). The Big Reds come into the Macomb Area - Blue challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Port Huron achieved victory over Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI), 35-21, in a league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fraser for a Macomb Area - Blue challenge on Friday, October 8. L'Anse Creuse will meet a Ramblers team coming off a 49-26 league win over Sterling Heights (Sterling Heights, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 4-2.
