Pennsylvania High School Football - Montour tipped by New Castle
October 1, 2021: New Castle, PA 16101 The Montour Spartans football team (McKees Rocks, PA), was tipped 14-10 in Friday's league challenge with the host New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA)
The Hurricanes (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats come into the WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Beaver was tipped by Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA), 35-7, in a league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Blackhawk for a WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge on Friday, October 8. Montour will meet a Cougars team coming off a 28-13 league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.
