The Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) volleyball nudged the host McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Braswell betters its record to 12-14 on the year. The Bengals host Prosper (Prosper, TX) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, October 8. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 23-9.

The Lions now sport a 13-16 record. They play next when they travel to Guyer for a 6A Region I District 5 outing on Tuesday, October 5. McKinney will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Allen (Allen, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-9.
