October 1, 2022: Washington, DC 20017 In Saturday's non-league game, the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) football team knocked off the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), by a final score of 22-12.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals come into the Washington Catholic - Metro game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Bishop Ireton toppled Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA), 29-0, in a non-league game.
