With the win, Avondale upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Lapeer East (Lapeer, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 1. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-1.
The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Park for a Oakland - Blue outing on Tuesday, October 4.
