The Irish now have a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Illinois Valley Central for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. Peoria Notre Dame will confront a Grey Ghosts team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 15-1.
The Hornets (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Chiefs enter the non-league test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Deer Creek-Mackinaw dropped by Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
