The Triopia/Virginia Trojans held off the host Midwest Central Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Illini West for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. Triopia/Virginia will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 13-5.

The Raiders (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Beardstown was nudged by Liberty (Liberty, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
