In Saturday's non-league contest, the Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) volleyball team topped the host New Athens Yellow Jackets (New Athens, IL), by a score of 2-0.

The Pioneers now have a 22-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparta for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. Trico will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wesclin (Trenton, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-11.
