October 1, 2024: Midlothian, VA 23113 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA), observed James River Midlothian's volleyball team top Manchester by a tally of 3-0.
The Rapids (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Chiefs enter the Dominion contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Monacan was beaten by Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Lancers meet the Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 3. Manchester will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA).
