North Carolina High School Soccer - West Brunswick toppled by New Hanover
October 1, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28401 New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, New Hanover advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Screaming Eagle in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 3. The Screaming Eagle come into the test with a record of 11-2. Ashley 2-2 in their recent league test against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
The Trojans now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 3. West Brunswick will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 4-0 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-1.
