October 1, 2024: Succasunna, NJ 07876 Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Roxbury advances its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Gaels host Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ) to clash with the Devils in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Devils come into the test with a record of 4-7.
The Braves now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallkill Valley for a Northwest Jersey - Freedom test on Friday, October 4. Newton will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ). The Rangers record now stands at 6-0.
