October 1, 2024: Medford, OR 97504 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the host North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), saw Sheldon's soccer squad knock off North Medford by a count of 3-0.
The Irish (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers enter the 6A Southwest battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, South Medford tipped Crater (Central Point, OR), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Black Tornado battle the Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 4. North Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR).
