October 1, 2024: Sharon, PA 16146 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) soccer team routed the host Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), by a tally of 9-1.
Next, the Greyhounds face the Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 contest, on Wednesday, October 2. Wilmington will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 5-2 league loss to Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
The Tigers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Hornets enter the District 10 Region 2 contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Hickory gained a win over Memorial (Campbell, OH), 5-1, in a non-league contest.
