October 1, 2024: Carbondale, IL 62901 In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Carbondale Terriers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Mt. Vernon Rams.
The Terriers (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans enter the South Seven challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Centralia beat Marion (Marion, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Rams meet the Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 2-1 league loss to Herrin (Herrin, IL).
