The Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) volleyball held off the host Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), 3-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they host East Surry for a Foothills 2A bout on Thursday, October 3. Forbush will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Surry Central drops to 14-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Foothills 2A bout on Thursday, October 3. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 11-6. North Wilkes won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC)
