October 1, 2024: St. Paul, MN 55107 Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Simley advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Spartans host Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to face the Zephyrs in a Metro East test on Wednesday, October 2. The Zephyrs go into the test with a record of 20-2. Mahtomedi lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN)
The Hawks now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Park for a St. Paul City test on Wednesday, October 2. Humboldt will face a Scots squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Washington Tech (St. Paul, MN). The Scots record now stands at 11-8.
