October 1, 2024: Bellevue, IA 52031 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lisbon Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Marquette Defenders.
The Lions (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA). The Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last challenge, Prince of Peace Prep was beaten by North Cedar (Stanwood, IA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Defenders meet the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors (Wheatland, IA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Midland (Wyoming, IA).
