October 1, 2024: Rutherford, NJ 07070 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) and the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), observed Rutherford's volleyball team top Mahwah by a count of 2-0.
The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Garfield (Garfield, NJ). The Boilermakers enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Garfield notched a victory over Becton (East Rutherford, NJ), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Thunderbirds battle the Pascack Hills Broncos (Montvale, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Mahwah will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ).
