October 1, 2025: Spring Grove, PA 17362 Spring Grove Rockets (Spring Grove, PA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA), 32-12 in a non-league match.
The Rockets (3-0) will now prepare for their match against New Oxford (New Oxford, PA). The Colonials come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, New Oxford was beaten by West York Area (York, PA), 44-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lions confront the Central York Panthers (York, PA) in a battle, on Wednesday, October 8. Red Lion will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 26-16 non-league win over Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA).
