North Carolina High School Soccer - Jordan-Matthews knocks off Northwood
October 1, 2025: Pittsboro, NC 27312 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Northwood Chargers.
The Jets (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Southwestern Randolph edged Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 4-0, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Lee for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Northwood will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-7.
