Somerton Toros (Somerton, AZ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Toros now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Prep for a 3A - West outing on Friday, October 3. Somerton will play a Honey Badgers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to ALA - West Foothills (Waddell, AZ). The Honey Badgers record now stands at 4-5.
