The Monroe Central Seminoles topped the visiting Martins Ferry Purple Riders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league game.

Next up, the Seminoles confront the Cameron Dragons (Cameron, WV) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 2. Monroe Central will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Dragons go into the game with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
