New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 2. New Underwood will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Bison come into the match with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bennett County (Martin, SD).
