October 2, 2023: Asheboro, NC 27205 The Uwharrie Charter Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Chatham Central Bears to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randleman for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. Uwharrie Charter will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.
The Bears (11-5) will now prepare for their game against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Lee County was dropped by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
