Ohio High School Soccer - Elyria knocks off Brooklyn
October 2, 2023: Elyria, OH 44035 Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Brooklyn Hurricanes (Brooklyn, OH), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers confront the Midview Middies (Grafton, OH) in a Southwestern challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Elyria will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Middies enter the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Crestview (Ashland, OH).
The Hurricanes now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cardinal for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. Brooklyn will confront a Huskies team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 1-11.
